Modulor is an exclusive commercial furniture range, designed and made in New Zealand by Cite. Modulor is high quality, functional design, that can be customised to suit it’s environment. Cite tasked us with creating an identity to reflect Modulors qualities. The name Modulor derives from a scale which Le Corbusier invented, it created a range of harmonious measurements to suit the human scale, universally applicable to architecture and to mechanical things. The graphical representation of this scale led us to create a customised typeface, using the scale as a typographic grid. As the furniture is designed to be modular we created a two variations of the logo lockup so it too could conform to it’s environment. As part of the project we also Art Directed the product shots.
