Cite Vitra Competition

The Cite Vitra competition was an open invitation to New Zealand architects, designers & specifiers to share their inspiration and go into the draw to win an exclusive design tour to the Vitra Campus in Germany. The aim was to broaden Cite’s reach and awareness within design led organisations through the mechanisms of the competition which consisted of a box containing the poster and Vitra Miniature Panton chair along with details of where and how to enter. A website was also designed and created that followed through with the design style and typographic approach. Vitra’s portfolio and roots in early to mid 20th century design formed the basis for the design choices that were made: Futura as a typeface, bold 2 colour printing techniques and a clever layout across the boxes that picks up on the constructed and considered nature of furniture design.
